The Vancouver Indy Coffee Scene

Four years ago the Winnipeg Folk Festival decided to forgo all paper plates for a recycling plate venture, Festival goers play a depost for the plate that is returned once they are finished their meal saving thousands of pounds of waste material. The Festival also sells travel mug for a merge profit encourage people to use the mug throughout the weekend. The 31st Annual Winnipeg Folk Festival took place from July 8th to 11th at Birds Hill Provincial Park located 15 mins north of Winnipeg, Man. Photo by Robert Dall
