Cold-Brewed Coffee

The cold brew process requires grinding coffee beans at a coarse setting and soaking those grounds in cold water for a prolonged period of time (usually 12 hours or more). The grounds must be filtered out of the cold water after they have been steeped.
Author’s note:
It is also called “Toddy,” which refers to a company that markets a brewer of the cold-brewed coffee concentrate.

What a process eh! Who would have thought 10 years ago this would have been marketable! Gotta love the cold coffee!
Hi John, I am a fan of the cold brewed coffee myself. I like the sweeter due to its lower acidity which requires less sugar and as a result a little better for you. The trademarked Toddy method was developed in 1964 according to Wikipedia.
